The Spiral is an energy, a womb, a nest, an intangible cloud that buzzes just below the surface. It is a beginning, a divine source, a cycle, a journey, a deep wisdom, and a space of creative power. It is pleasure, expansion, evolution. It is liberation.
 
These paintings are a meditation on the power of the erotic self, the empowerment gained by shedding the layers of shame and self-doubt taught to us by the powers that run our world. It is a practice of freeing oneself through reconnecting to the sacred power that resides within at all times.
 
The Spiral is a collection of ink paintings that were created in the middle of the forest beautiful British Columbia on the traditional territories of the Sinixt, the Syilx, and the Ktunaxa peoples.
